This privacy notice explains how Fusion Claims Consultants, LLC (“Fusion,” “we,” “us”) handles information in the Fusion Tools & Resources mobile app (“App”). It applies to the App only. If you follow a link to Fusion’s website, shop, client portal, or another service, that service’s privacy notice also applies.
Information saved on your device
The preparedness checklist and the ZIP code you enter are saved locally on your device so you can return to them later. The App does not send checklist selections to Fusion. You can clear this information by clearing the App’s stored data or uninstalling the App. Uninstalling may remove locally saved progress.
ZIP code and weather lookups
If you choose to check weather alerts, the ZIP code you enter is sent to Zippopotam.us to look up a location. The App then sends the resulting map coordinates to the National Weather Service at weather.gov to retrieve active alerts. The App does not request GPS or precise device location. The weather result is used to display the response and is not saved by the App. These providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and request details. Their own privacy practices apply.
Industry event searches
If you choose an event search, the App opens a Google search in your browser using the search topic and any city or ZIP code you entered. Google and your browser provider may process the search terms and technical information under their own privacy policies.
Links to other services
The App can open Fusion’s shop, account pages, client portals, services, resources, and partner or event websites in your browser. Those services operate separately and may collect information under their own privacy notices. Orders and payments are not completed inside the App. Information you provide after leaving the App is handled by the linked website and its service providers.
Information Fusion receives from the App
The current App does not include Fusion account sign-in, access Fusion CRM or client records, upload documents, or send checklist selections or ZIP codes to Fusion. It does not request device location, include advertising or analytics SDKs, send push notifications, or accept in-App payments. Apple, Google, your device, browser, and the external providers you choose to use may process information under their own policies.
Retention and choices
Checklist progress and your saved ZIP code remain in the App’s local storage until you clear the App data or remove the App. You may choose not to use weather or event search features. If you use external websites, review their privacy notices and settings for information about their collection and retention practices.
Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not designed for children under 13. Fusion does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the App’s features or data practices change. The “Last updated” date shows when this notice was most recently revised. If the App adds sign-in, uploads, location permission, analytics, advertising, notifications, or in-App payments, we will review this notice and the store disclosures before releasing those features.
